We need to treat our body and mind in a healthy way to live a life able to join life without health problems.
For my body I use to take walks with my dog and practice yoga, which helps me to be able to use my body also when I have pain by Osteoarthritis. If I just sit and don’t move around my body will get worse and worse. Instead I try my best with yoga, where I get stretched my body all the right places.
For my mind I use meditation and gratitude. I do use meditation twoΒ times a day, if possible and when I go to bed I think about all the things I have to be grateful for. I try to find so much as possible and give my thanks to our universe.
In my daily life I do my best to stay positive, smile and don’t judge anyone. We do all have a history and I’m not the one to judge you.
All these ways of behavior help me to treat my body and mind in a healthy way, of course I can do a lot more, but I can’t do all in one time, so step by step.
What do yo do to treat your body and mind healthy? I would like to know, maybe we can inspire each other π
I hope you enjoyed reading. This topic will continue in next weekend,
Irene

I admit, I don’t do near enough to take care of my body. I know I should…
Thanks for this inspiring post, Irene. π
Thank you too Linda π
Maybe you can find time for just a little at time too.
I have begun drinking Apple Cider Vinegar (1 tablespoon) in one full glass of water. This really helps with inflammation and pain, plus it cleanses our blood. Not bad for taking 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar. Not bad at all. Great post, Irene. We are all responsible for our bodies as well as our minds. I am planning on going for a nice long bike ride soon. Then off to a photo shoot this evening. In between spend time with my family and flowers. (smile) Love, Amy
I have heard about this vinegar before, I will try to find it here. Thanks Amy π
It sounds like you found your way.
Oh, when enough health issues hit me, yes I have found my way! Love, Amy
Thanks for the positive, upbeat thoughts Irene. I do yoga and walk my dog to keep myself young & moving! Achy joints!! π
Thanks Paula π
It is important that we do just a little every day, even we have pain. They don’t disappear without any movement. So better do as much as possible every day, I think.
Yoga and walking the dog is a good combination π
I love your practice Irene. It sound nurturing for mind body and spirit. π
That is what I also want from my daily practice of yoga, meditation and walking. When I can’t get out to walk I either go on the treadmill (I have a standing date with Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek repeats) or dance around my home office!
My absolute joy is teaching yoga for people in mid life and beyond. We keep each other young, moving and ever grateful π
You sound very satisfied with your life Val and that is very nice to read.
I live isolated here, so I just practice for myself at home, but then no one to disturb either, unless the cats, they want to join or have love in same time π
I love your approach to being healthy, and also how you used this week’s SOCS prompt. To answer your question in your post, one thing I try to do is recognize the great efforts my body takes to heal itself — this helps me be more patient about physical challenges, like a knee issue I deal with, which reminded me of how you deal with your osteoarthritis. I haven’t tried yoga yet but enjoyed how you cope in a positive way, too. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you π
It is about to find a way we like to assure that we continue.
I eat ice cream π
Seriously, I’m struggling, but I’m determined.
I like icecream too π
A wonderful reminder to stay positive, breathe, think. Thank you Irene β€
You are always welcome π
