Odin became more like his old way in the weekend, but this went down yesterday and today, where I got visit by the vet again. More medication seem to be the way for now to avoid more bleeding from the nose. Otherwise he is getting stronger again and wish to play, even if it is not allowed yet. Just to avoid more bleeding. When he gets excited, it starts easy again. Thank you for asking.
Shame Irene, I am sorry to hear that and hope the bleeding stops for good soon. Did the vet diagnose the actual cause for the nose bleed? Hugs for you and Odin. x
Thank you Lynne and yes, the vet tested him for all, he said, and the only thing, they found was an infection in one side of the nose, as he mean is because of heavy sniffing in the green areas, where many female dogs, who are in the heat, also are walking. So he got lots of pollen inside his nose in same time. A kind of allergic reaction to this.
He is not sniffing so heavy at our usual walks.
Oh okay, lets hope the medication works nicely now. Poor boy, shame. xxx
Thanks Lynne, I do also hope so. Odin has been bleeding twice in the morning, then I gave him the daily injection and it stopped until he got his dinner, then it started again. I really hope the best.
