Beautiful early sunrise seen at our morning walk
Happy Odin
Our Almond Trees are blooming now. I hope, they didn’t get the freezing, while here were very cold in the nights. If so, we will get less almonds this year
Blooming Almond Flowers. They are so beautiful and seen in several colors from pure white to heavy pink. They smell so good
Bougainvillea as are blooming much of the year, where I live in Spain
Narcissus, as I found hided today
I don’t know these flowers, but they are beautiful and a wonderful sign, that the spring is on the way here too
I hope, that you enjoyed your visit
Irene

Odin does indeed look happy. Enjoy Spring Irene. It will soon be Autumn here.
Thank you, Gary. I hope, that you had time to enjoy your Summer too.
I did Irene, although the best period was the end of December and the beginning of January when I could visit my family in Brisbane. Summer weather in Brisbane is much superior to the weather in Canberra.
Thank you for the walk, Irene 🙂 It’s always a pleasure to explore with you… the pictures are beautiful 🙂 xx
Thank you, Cyranny 😀
Such beautiful flowers Irene. I can see why Odin is smiling. 🐕
Thank you, Brigid 😀
Beautiful photos, Irene! Would love to have an almond tree in my yard… but guess I have to settle for cactus! 😁
*Waves to Odin 👋*
Thank you Felicia. If you can have cactus, you can also grow almonds. Do you want I send you some from the big tree? they were not taken away all of them from last year. The area are lost and left, why we can walk there.
Wait! Are you telling me almond trees can grow in the desert??? All I see here are citrus trees and a gazillion varieties of flowering cactus. I’d love to try an almond tree!
We have Almond trees, Lemon trees, Orange Trees and many kind of cactus too. You just need to take care of watering every second day.
I think, that Spain contain mostly of rocks, so we don’t have much or deep soil, but by taking care of the plants, you can grow much.
When your tree is big enough and the roots well developed, you will not need to watering so much.
I’ll give it a go, Irene! Thank you!
Wish you all good luck, Felicia 😀
Please share your experience.
Gorgeous spring scenes Irene.
Thank you Holly 😀
Marvelous photos
Thank you 😀
My absolute pleasure, stay awesome.
You too!
Hello Odin ! 🙂
Hello Colleen 🙂
Odin looks like Vulcan wisdom! 🙂 We cut our dogs’ hair today. Dogs rock! 🙂
Thank you Tom. Odin is a good boy and a kind little brother for our two old cats 🙂
What kind of dogs do you have, when they need a hair cut?
Beautiful photos, Irene and good to see Odin again! 🙂
Thank you very much, Sylvester:-D
You’re very welcome always!😊
So exciting to see the first signs of Spring! No doubt both you and Odin are enjoying your walks.
Thank you 😀
Thanks for taking us along on your walk with you and Odin. Looks like a beautiful morning.
Thank you Mavis. It was a beautiful morning and the sun come up over the Mediterranean Sea, as I live very close to 😀
Beautiful photos, dear Irene! I hope you are doing well.
Thank you Dolly and yes, I’m doing much better.
I am so glad to hear that, dear friend! 😻
Beautiful Spring signs, Irene and I love the Bougainville – such glorious flowers and fragrance! Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an almond tree … do you harvest them? Finally, what a terrific name for your dog!! 😀🌺
Thank you Annika. We have so many Almond trees in Spain and yes, I do go and harvest in areas, where no one live, if possible. I prefer to wait until they are ready to harvest. Not all have the needed patience. Odin is smiling 😀
they are the first signs of Spring….
Thank you 🙂
Lovely! 🙂
Thank you, Joey 😀
Wow, I am waiting for spring here yet…it’s still winter and quite cold and snowy one! Beautiful shots!
Thank you Ann. It is also winter and cold here in the nights, but in daytime, we do get some sunshine to warm all up, which I enjoy so much.
Hi Irene. Beautiful photos. We just had a huge snow storm last night. So it’s all white here! But I don’t mind it when you can just stay in and look at it from the comforts of under a blanket with a hot cup of coffee. 🙂
I hear you LeeAnn, enjoy Cino and your coffee 🙂
Reblogged this on Dream Big, Dream Often.
Thank you for the reblog, Danny 😀
You are welcome!
Sounds like you are not too far from me in Spain, it’s like that near us. Can’t wait for a long, hot summer. But we are expecting more rain next week.
We await rain for some days too. I live in Valencia area, but more close to Tarragona. Where do you live?
Spring and summer is properly set now 🙂 Visiting the blog after so long! How are you doing, Irene? I hope your road to recovery is well set!
Thank you, Prajakta. I’m recovering well, I think. It is still cold here in the nights, down to freezing, but I enjoy the little sunshine, as we often get in daytime. Right now it looks like rain, but we need the water too, no matter I would prefer more sunshine.
Spring is such a beautiful time of the year. I always love your pictures Irene. Seeing Odin again brought a smile to my face, thank you. He is such a happy boy. So glad he is over all those complications he was having last year ! Have a beautiful week. 🙂 x
Thank you Lynne and I agree, I love the spring here. I feel released, that Odin is healthy again, it was not nice last year.
Wish you a beautiful week too 🙂
Oh what JOY to see these gorgeous signs of Spring, Irene! I’m so lifted up seeing this post! I wish I could smell those almond flowers. I bet they are just soooooo sweet!! Much Love to you!!! (((HUGS))) Amy 🌷🌷🌷
Thank you Amy and you are right, the almond flowers are smelling so sweet and inviting. Even Odin goes close to smell them (and to take an old almond, if possible) 😀
Much love ❤
So wonderful to see a post from you Irene upon my return, and to see colour as those beautiful spring blossoms of the almond trees bloom.. I too hope the cold nights have not upset the harvest ..
Here we sit in a blanket of white, as the snow storms hit the UK. A blizzard is snowing outside right now and temps this morning were minus 3 outside.
I hope all is well with you. Odin looks happy, yes,
And I am much brighter again.. finding my balance as I slowly return to blog land.
wishing you well my friend.. LOVE and Hugs and take care also..
Blessings Sue xxx

Oh Irene, this lovely post is a tonic for my soul ❤
Hi Tina, I’m happy to hear that ❤
I found your comment in the spam map, where you were in not good company.
Thanks for fishing me out of spam, Irene. For some reason, half of my comments were sent there yesterday. Maybe I was gone a little too long 🙂 ❤
Uh, not fun to go to the spam, I agree. I haven’t been much online for a week or so, so maybe they will turn me to the bin too 🙂
How are you, Tina?
I’m slowly regaining energy, Irene. Thank you for asking. I do hope you are not relegated to spam 🙂 How are you doing, my friend? ❤
Good to hear, that you are on your way again, Tina. I have been away from blogging for a while, I haven’t had the feeling and needed a break. I do have new to post, just need the abundance, thank you ❤
Sending lots of good energy to you, Irene ❤
Thank you so much, Tina ❤
Beautiful almond blossom and bougainvillea! Lovely to see spring in other parts of the world.

I hope you are doing better Irene. Are still living in Spain? Sounds like beautiful place.
Yes Nicodemas, I do still live in Spain. In August I have been here for 7 years. I’m still improving and try to get back into blogging again, little by little.
Blessings! Take care of yourself.
Thank you, I do my best.
🙂
I hope you are having a nice July, Irene 🙂
Thank you Christy, I do.
That’s great, Irene xx
