Walk in Spain in April – 9 Photos

Today I will show you some photos from our daily walks here in our part of Spain. Here you see a blooming Almond Tree

It went very fast after the blooming of the Almond Trees, until the new almonds were visible

Borage 1

We have lots of Borage in natural areas, where no one take care any longer

I did grow Borage, while I lived in Denmark. I used the beautiful blue flowers in salad, they are eatable and taste good. More than that, they are also nutritious

I find these Borage so beautiful, they show clearly the spring is arrived here, even we have grey clouds at the sky today. I will not complain, we have had beautiful sunshine and warm weather for a while now and I do often enjoy my food outside in the midday

There are many Wild Flowers in these areas and I love to see them blooming, all look so promising with hopes for long and sunny days

Spring in March in Spain – 10 Photos

Odin & I had a walk to check out, how much more close to the spring, we are now

The Almond Trees are now in full bloom and some of them have lost their flowers already now

All the Almond Trees, as I show you here, are wild now, no one have been taking care of them for many years

I really love these Almond Flowers, they are so beautiful

Here Odin needed a break and rolled and enjoyed himself

When I saw them, I just needed to photograph them, such a nice warm color this time at the year

Spring is arrived in Spain – 10 Photos

I’m happy to be able to show you the first signs of spring in the area of Spain, where I live. When we see the Almond Trees blooming, it is spring 😀

I saw this rainbow in a part, where I don’t know, where the water is coming from

All these Almond Trees in this post are wild trees, where no one take care of them any longer. As  you can see, there is an almond from last year too

These Almond Trees are not in full blooming yet, so I will continue to take photos, when they develope

Walk in Spain – 16 Photos

Odin and I were out walking in our new area in Spain, where we have had both very nice and sunny weather, but also very cold and windy weather, just like the Winter will not give space for the Spring yet

Beautiful walk in Spain – 17 Photos

First of all I will show you some more blooming Almond Trees. I wish, that I could bring in their smell too, they smell so wonderful

The colors of their flowers go from white to pink, up to the sort of almonds

As I told you before, we are walking in a barranc, which is used to store water, when we get more than enough rain in very short time. There are roads at both sides of this barranc and then the barranc is down like in a valley, filled with different plants and trees and huges rocks to keep the soil stay there. From this and the following photos you will see the barranc from upside at one of the roads, from where I could better show the views

There were some waves and wind here and it was so nice just to sit and enjoy the view and the smell of the sea

Spring is coming to Spain – 12 Photos

The Spring is now visible in Spain. When I walk with Odin, I see new signs every day, like these Almond Trees, as you see here. The one in front with pink flowers and the one in the background with white flowers

Walk in our new area in Spain – 7 Photos

These photos are photographed the last two days at our walk in our new area

We are walking in a wild area, where there are many kind of trees and plants. Here you see an Almond tree blooming and you can also see some of the almonds from last year, as still are on the tree

This area is called a Barranc and are used to store water, if we should get a lot of rain in short time and the soil is not able to take it down imidiately. These barrancs end out in the Mediterranean Sea. There are houses and small soil roads at both sides of this barranc

Afternoon walk in sunshine in Spain – 13 Photos
